On April 16, 2016, Colin Estrem, Gordon Kellam and Glen Schwesinger set out on a 12-day, 1,200-mile bicycle journey from Naples, FL to Washington, DC to raise awareness for The Shelter’s Gentle’men Against Domestic Violence® initiative. Along the way, they met with community, state and national political leaders, NFL players, Shelter representatives and everyday people touched by their mission and their message. The riders were challenged, physically and mentally, and met a number of unforeseen challenges including having their RV stuck in the mud on a dirt road. Below are daily blogs shared by the riders as they started and completed each day of their amazing journey.
