Although riding 12 days and 1,256 miles is an arduous task, so is social change. Today we met with Caroline Bettinger-Lopez, The White House Advisor on Violence Against Women, to discuss GADV (Gentle’men Against Domestic Violence) and how we can work together on a national level to end domestic abuse and violence. We talked about how men need to stand as equal partners with women to invoke change and teach boys and young men that violence, control and abuse does not equal power. We made big strides, but the road continues. We shall ride on!!!
