Video celebrates Apple Pie Day 2021

On April 26, The Shelter celebrated Apple Pie Day at The Shelter Options Shoppe to honor our volunteers and thank the Harris family for their generous financial gift that paid off the Options’ building mortgage!

Jack & Lue Harris were loyal supporters of The Shelter and Lue gave many hours of time volunteering at Options. When they passed, their family chose to honor their memory by paying off Options’ mortgage. We are grateful to their son Scott Harris, who always attends Apple Pie Day, recalling memories of his parent’s love for The Shelter and sharing many kind words for our amazing volunteers!
