The Shelter for Abused Women & Children recognized as a Top Workplace in Florida

PETERSBURG, FL — The Shelter for Abused Women & Children was recently named one of Florida’s Best Companies To Work For.

The annual Best Companies To Work For In Florida list, featured in the August issue of Florida Trend magazine, recognizes organizations in small, medium, and large employer categories that demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace excellence.

To participate, organizations were required to have at least 15 workers in Florida and to be in operation for at least one year. Participating organizations underwent an evaluation of their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The process also included an employee survey measuring workplace satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top organizations and final rankings.
