The Shelter is proud to be one of 30 Collier County nonprofit agencies selected to take part in the Inaugural Give Where You Live 30 initiative. Starting on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at noon, thousands of people in Collier County will come together online to raise millions of dollars for 30 selected nonprofit organizations in Collier County. We invite you to be one of them!
THIS IS HOW IT WORKS…
For 24 hours, beginning on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 12:00pm (noon) everyone can be a philanthropist by donating to The Shelter and 29 other registered Give Where You Live nonprofits serving Collier County.
DONATIONS WILL BE AMPLIFIED WITH $300,000 IN MATCHING FUNDS FROM THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF COLLIER COUNTY AND THE RICHARD M. SCHULZE FAMILY FOUNDATION!
By Check: Date your check March 3, 2015 and place it in a sealed enveloped marked “Give Where You Live.” Any time between now and March 3, take the envelope to Options Thrift Shoppe (968 Second Ave. North 34102) and give it to the cash register attendant at the counter. Your check will be personally delivered to The Community Foundation within the time frame boundaries.
