For more than four decades, The Shelter for Abused Women & Children has provided comprehensive services that help survivors find safety, healing, and hope. Through emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, children’s programs, prevention education, outreach services, and long-term residential support, the organization continues to meet the evolving needs of individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and human trafficking.

The 2026 IMPACT 50 Leadership Recognition Program will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bell Tower in Fort Myers, where this year’s honorees will be recognized for their contributions to Southwest Florida’s nonprofit sector.
