Julie Franklin

“Julie goes above and beyond on a daily basis. She puts The Shelter, our mission and the employees before herself. I can see her leave every day from my office, and she’s always bringing an extra bag of work home with her. She never stops moving, and you can tell just how committed she is to the success of our programs. She’s an amazingly selfless person who, regardless of how busy she is, always has time for anyone who needs her. I can’t say enough about how hard she works, how much passion she has for The Shelter and just how much she cares. Julie takes the mission to heart and deserves this recognition.”
“I am nominating Julie Franklin for Employee of the Month. Since I started working at The Shelter, I have been very impressed with Julie. She has been stellar through major transitions in the Finance Department and Emergency Shelter while staying on task with her new and demanding position as COO. She never appears ruffled despite the heavy workload, and always stops and makes time for each and every person who comes seeking her assistance.”
