The Shelter is proud to be one of 40 Collier County nonprofit agencies selected to take part in the Give Where You Live Collier. Starting at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, thousands of people in Collier County will come together online to raise millions of dollars for 40 selected nonprofit organizations in Collier County.  Please support The Shelter!

This is how it works…

For 24 hours, beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 at 12:00 pm (noon) everyone can be a philanthropist by donating to The Shelter. 

Donations will be amplified with matching funds from the Community Foundation of Collier County and the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation!

It’s Simple

Online: Just visit this page or givewhereyoulivecollier.org anytime from 12:00 pm (noon) on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 up until 11:59 am on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018.  

By Check: Please make your check out to the Community Foundation of Collier County and write GWYL in the memo line. Date your check Feb. 21, 2018. Place it in a sealed enveloped marked “Give Where You Live” and drop it off at The Shelter Options Shoppe (968 Second Ave. North 34102) by 5 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21. Give it to the cash register attendant at the counter. Your check will be personally delivered to The Community Foundation within the time frame boundaries.
