Gentle’men Against Domestic Violence Day proclaimed in Collier County

On Tuesday, March 12, 2019, Collier County Commissioners proclaimed the very first Gentle’men Against Domestic Violence® Day. On hand to accept the proclamation were GADV Founding Fathers John Jordan and Bob Cahners and GADV Chair Colin Estrem, who addressed the board.

Following the presentation, Commission Chairman Bill McDaniel asked Shelter CEO Linda Oberhaus to update the board on the Shelly Stayer Shelter, set to break ground this spring in Immokalee, FL.

In addition to the proclamation, GADV sponsored the 250 Men & More Campaign, which was supported by more than 260 local men. An ad featuring their names was published in the Naples Daily News on March 12, 2019.
