FLORIDA WEEKLY: The Shelter Holds Candlelight Vigil for Domestic Violence

The Shelter for Abused Women & Children hosted a Candlelight Vigil on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Cambier Park in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The annual event honors the lives lost to domestic violence, celebrates the strength and resilience of survivors and raises awareness about the ongoing work to end domestic violence and human trafficking in Collier County.

Community members, local leaders and survivors gathered to stand together in remembrance and hope for a safer future for all.
