Participants visit First Baptist Church Christmas Village

On Dec. 14, 2018, 45 Shelter residents accepted an invitation from First Baptist Church of Naples to visit the church’s Christmas Village and Celebration.

The Church provided vans to transport Shelter residents to the festivities which included musical entertainment, children’s holiday activities, a live nativity scene, hot chocolate and holiday treats.

In addition, the church provided a Chick-fil-A meal and dessert and Christmas gifts for all Shelter residents who attended. Each family was paired with a host family to provide additional help with children so that Shelter mothers could enjoy their evening as well.

The evening was capped off with a trip through Victoria Park to see the Christmas lights before returning to The Shelter.

We are very grateful to the church for their generosity and hospitality to our families at this special time of the year.
