WE MADE IT!!!
We have made it to Washington DC by bicycle and have over 1,200 miles logged to raise awareness for our cause, the GADV initiative, and to help end domestic violence. Thank you to our Florida Congressmen Mario Diaz-Balart and Curt Clawson for their time and support. Thanks to Congressman Diaz-Balart, our ride and cause was officially entered into the Congressional Record on April 26!! We also enjoyed meeting with members of Senator Bill Nelson’s staff. Tomorrow we will be in the Office of the Vice President for our final meeting with members of Washington Violence Against Women team – we can make things happen, so let’s all ride together!!

- Tommy drew this picture after following our Ride for The Shelter posts on Facebook. This blew me away. We all think he is an absolute Gentle’man and that in a few years we want to take him out for a 1,250 mile ride.
