The Shelter receives $15,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Collier County

Naples, FL – The Shelter for Abused Women & Children is pleased to announce it has received a $15,000 grant through the Community Foundation of Collier County. These much-needed funds will be used for rent deposits, transportation, clothing, food and other basic needs of victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.

“We are extremely grateful to the Community Foundation for this funding,” said Shelter CEO Linda Oberhaus. “Like other nonprofits, The Shelter’s budget has been hard hit by COVID-19. This grant will ensure our participants have the basic resources needed to rebuild their lives as they regain self-sufficiency.”
