Harmon-Meek Gallery supports The Shelter with ARTober

During the month of October, Harmon-Meek Gallery will celebrate ARTober, by donating 10% of the purchase of a new painting or sculpture to local charities. To ensure that 10% of your purchase goes to The Shelter for Abused Women & Children, mention us at checkout.

“Having served Southwest Florida since 1964, we have supported thousands of philanthropic events in Naples,” says Kristine Meek; “however, this month-long effort is the first of its kind for us. With 2020 being unlike any other year in our long history, we see the needs rising for regional nonprofits that do so much in our community. We also recognize the pool of possible event sponsors like our small family business is unfortunately dwindling.”

Typically, the gallery sets a percentage-of-sales-fundraising on select items only.  This year, all items from the gallery’s entire inventory will qualify. Shelter donors/supporters take part in Artober at 382 12th Ave. South in downtown Naples (next to the Bevy) from 11 am to 5 pm, Tuesday – Saturday. They may also call 239-262-2699 or email kmeek@harmonmeek.com to set up a time for a private appointment in the private showroom gallery at 599 9th St. North on US 41 downtown in the First Horizon Bank building.

“Naples is our home, it’s our birthplace, our town, and our community,” Kristine says. “We recognize that The Shelter is an important part of our community and we want to do something that will make a positive difference during this difficult time.”
