This morning we rolled up to EverBank Field in Jacksonville, where we met with Jaguar defensive tackle Sen’Derrick Marks, who signed our petition to support Gentle’men Against Domestic Violence. Thank you to the Jacksonville Jaguars organization for your enthusiasm and support of our GADV initiative and the ride!! Here’s to a good season for you and the Gentle’men! Go Jaguars!!

GEORGIA on my mind!! We made it over the state boarder this afternoon with a south wind; for once!! After finding our evening accommodations in St. Simons Island, we met up with our artist friend Becky Tucker for an amazing tour of Davis Love’s trophy room, The Lodge at Sea Island, and a great dinner with great conversations about our cause and our ride! We are all in this together! What a place St. Simons Island is; a pocket of paradise. Tough to leave, but onward to Savannah tomorrow!!
Another day has passed, so, here’s the thing – when you do something that is way far outside the comfort zone, you are always surprised at the results. We have held up better than we could’ve ever imagined, and the body is still strong. Another 125 miles, and ready for another day – We have gotten to know wonderful people and heard their stories as we share ours. Domestic violence affects everyone. Let’s all ride together!!
