Tim Barone

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Tim Barone brings a wealth of financial leadership and strategic expertise to The Shelter for Abused Women & Children. He holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and an MBA with a concentration in Change Management from Stetson University. He also completed minors in Electronic Business Technology and Spanish.

Tim began his career in Naples, Florida, as CFO of St. Matthew’s House. Since then, he has held senior financial roles across a diverse range of industries, including private equity, supplement manufacturing, and homeowners associations. He also served as Controller and CFO at Grace Place for Children and Families for six years, followed by three years as CFO for a local startup.

In March 2025, Tim joined The Shelter as Chief Financial Officer. He is passionate about using his financial acumen to support the organization’s mission and ensure long-term sustainability and impact for the individuals and families we serve.
