Get help with your injunction for protection
The Shelter for Abused Women & Children’s Injunction for Protection Project offers support for survivors of domestic violence who need an Injunction for Protection (commonly called a restraining order). If you need assistance with a Domestic Violence Injunction, Dating Violence Injunction, Stalking Injunction or Sexual Violence Injunction, please request assistance from The Shelter.
The Shelter’s onsite paralegal is located in the Clerk of Court’s office and is available to assist with injunction filing questions. You can also reach her by phone at 239-775-3862 ext. 373.
The Shelter’s Attorney is available to speak with you about how injunctions may protect you and to potentially represent you in an injunction hearing. If you desire legal advice or legal representation regarding injunctions for protection, you can consult with her in a confidential environment. She will determine if she can represent you after a consultation. Please call: 239-775-3862 ext. 253.
