Programs & Services

RESIDENTIAL

24-hour Crisis Hotline (365 days a year): Trained advocates and certified volunteers provide safety planning, information about domestic violence and resource referrals 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Call or text (239) 775-1101. For immediate danger, call 911.

Emergency Shelter (Naples & Immokalee): Provides support and services to victims of domestic violence, including basic needs, advocacy, individual and group counseling—offered free of charge.

     Key Features:
• Two 60-bed Residential Shelters (Communal Living)
• Advocacy/Case management, Child assessments, Information and Referrals, Support groups, Healing modalities, Empowerment groups
• Protect Your Pet Program/On-Site Kennel:
o Offers safety planning for people and their pets.
• In-house Child Care Program: Provides a nurturing, safe, and secure environment where children are encouraged to play, laugh, learn, and put their fears aside.
After-School Care Program (5 – 17 years): Offering a safe, familiar, and developmentally appropriate environment for school aged children during out of school time.

Human Trafficking Program: The Shelly Stayer Shelter in Immokalee offers specialized services for victims of human trafficking.

PREVENTION

Primary Prevention: These prevention programs educate and raise awareness about domestic violence, aiming to shift young minds and alter behaviors, to decrease the chances of becoming victims or offenders.

ii. Middle School: Healthy Friendships
iii. High School: Teen Healthy Relationships, Teens Against Domestic Violence (TAGV), Expect Respect
Raising Gentle’men

OUTREACH

Clinical Counseling: Include non-diagnostic professional counseling services applied metapsychology sessions for children and adults.

Healing Arts: Uses meditation, yoga, creative writing, artwork, and other modalities to move participants toward healing and building inner strength and self-esteem.

Child Welfare Advocate: Works with participants who have open child welfare cases, supporting them through their mandatory case plans and providing emotional support.

Transitional Living: The Shelter’s Transitional Living Program is a highly selective, empowerment-based opportunity for survivors of domestic violence who are ready to take the next steps toward long-term independence. For up to 24 months, participants live in safe, affordable transitional housing while working toward goals like financial stability, education, and permanent, violence-free housing. Those who are accepted into the program gain the structure, tools, and community they need to reclaim their future with strength and hope.

Court & Legal Advocacy: We offer assistance at the Collier County Clerk’s Office in filing injunctions for protection (restraining orders), in-court support for injunction hearings, legal representation for injunction for protection hearings, and support and guidance for survivors with their abuser’s criminal cases. We also offer referrals for any other type of legal matter a survivor is involved with or in need of.

AWARENESS

Community Education: Provides educational presentations to community members and professionals on domestic violence and human trafficking dynamics.
