Jennifer Donohue honored as Shelter Employee of the Month

The Shelter is proud to announce that Jennifer Donohue was recently honored as June Employee of the Month. Jennifer serves as Administrative & Quality Improvement Officer for The Shelter.

Here’s what Jennifer’s colleagues had to say about her:

“Jennifer has the greatest “CAN DO” personality I’ve come across in Naples. Even as the reports and meeting minutes pile up on her desk, she is happy to edit letters (especially when Linda’s signature will be gracing them), she searches for important data, and best of all, lends a friendly smile.

Jennifer’s depth of resources is vast. For example, in personally knowing the names and titles of many of the faith-based leaders in the community, she improved the quality of a new outreach/fundraising program.

Jennifer consistently and efficiently locates information for RISE meetings and/or reports; she is a reliable volunteer for all of our events; and for the 250 Men & More Campaign, she went the extra mile by inviting quality gentlemen from her church to participate, helping us to exceed our goal.

Other ways Jennifer has gone above and beyond the call of duty include:

  • serving as “staff photographer,”
  • managing the healthy workplace walks,
  • being the very talented co-instructor for the DVAM dance in 2018,
  • plus, much more.

Jennifer’s life is full with family, a deep faith, healthy living, photography, and school. We all count on Jennifer as a joyful and reliable team member.”
