2026 Gentle’Men Against Domestic Violence Men’s Event

Gentle’men Against Domestic Violence® (GADV) hosted its annual Men’s Event at Grey Oaks Country Club on January 14, 2026, welcoming more than 200 men in support of The Shelter for Abused Women & Children. GADV is an initiative of The Shelter that calls on men to stand alongside women as equal partners in ending domestic violence and human trafficking, while helping build a community where everyone is valued and safe. The co-chairs for this year’s event were Jim Flanagan and John Kiely.

Since its inaugural Men’s Event on January 14, 2008, GADV has raised more than $4 million to support The Shelter’s two 60-bed emergency shelters and more than 30 outreach programs that provide safety, advocacy, and life-changing services to the families we serve.
