Mending Broken Hearts with Hope Luncheon 2016 overwhelming success

Despite a weather delay, The Shelter’s 16th Annual Mending Broken Hearts with Hope Luncheon raised more than $800,000, Jan. 15, to help prevent, protect and prevail over domestic violence and human trafficking. New this year was a moving musical performance by 15-year-old operatic singing prodigy Jackie Evancho. More than 750 attendees enjoyed a magnificent luncheon, silent auction and Designer’s Boutique, showcasing vendors from across the country.

Many thanks to this year’s Luncheon Chair Bev Haas, Vice-Chair Annette Pakula and Honorary Chair Nancy White.
