On May 23, 2019 ground was broken for the Shelly Stayer Shelter
for Victims of Human Trafficking & Domestic Violence on 5.6 acres
of property in Immokalee, FL.
Because site work began out of season, the groundbreaking
was small, with just Shelly Stayer and her husband Ralph in
attendance. The project is on track and an official
Grand Opening and Commemoration Ceremony is being
planned for spring 2020.
We are grateful for the financial and community support
that is making this dream a reality. To date, the RISE
Campaign has raised over $11 million of its
$18.1 million goal.
There is more to be done. Please help us spread the
word in the community. This 21,500 square foot,
60-bed shelter will serve survivors of domestic
violence as well as provide the long-term
therapeutic needs of human trafficking victims.

RISE, call The Shelter at 239.775.3862.
“This shelter will bring hope and healing to
thousands of survivors whose lives have
been devastated by domestic violence
and human trafficking.”
