Shelly Stayer Shelter
On May 26, 2020, Lead Benefactors
Shelly & Ralph Stayer, and Patricia &
Craig Jilk gathered to cut the ribbon
on the new Shelly Stayer Shelter
for Victims of Human Trafficking &
Domestic Violence in Immokalee, FL.
The 21,500-square-foot, 60-bed
shelter features three main areas: a
section to accommodate the long-term
therapeutic needs of victims of human
trafficking; a section to shelter victims
of domestic abuse; and a section
dedicated to Immokalee outreach.
“In 2016, I made a financial commitment to establish this shelter because, like you, I believe that
every human being has the right to be safe and protected. With your help, the dream we planted
three years ago has come to fruition and will bear much fruit in our community. Thank you for
your support and for being part of the solution!”
