Yoga was developed up to 5,000 years ago in India as a comprehensive system for wellbeing of all levels; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Yoga is a system, not of beliefs, but of techniques and guidance for enriched living. Bringing the organ systems in the body together with the consciousness of the mind, or connecting the ego-self with the divine self. Most classes include breath work, the yoga poses (asanas), and meditation, to produce a union of the mind, body and the spirit.
