Florida Weekly features Gentle’men Against Domestic Violence Tailgate
The 9th Annual Gentle’men Against Domestic Violence® Men’s Event, Casino Royale, was held Jan. 16, 2020, at Grey Oaks Country Club, with nearly 200 men in attendance. The featured speaker was Shelly Stayer, who addressed the topic of human trafficking in our community. Ms. Stayer is a long-time supporter of The Shelter and the namesake of the new Shelly Stayer Shelter for Victims of Human Trafficking & Domestic Violence, slated to open in April in Immokalee, FL.
The annual event raises awareness for the GADV initiative as well as funding to support The Shelter for Abused Women & Children.
