Breathing Techniques
Deep breathing has a multitude of health benefits and is the core component of meditation and yoga. Breath work has been shown to lower harmful effects of the stress hormone cortisol on the body, it lowers the heart rate, helps reduce blood pressure, improves core muscle stability, and reduces the effects of stress. Deep breathing cleanses the lungs and delivers oxygen rich blood throughout the organs and tissues of the body. We know that cancer cannot survive in an oxygen rich environment.
