The Clinical program is the point of entry for all non-residential Children’s services.  Upon intake, the Clinical Director meets with parent and child to assess each family’s individualized needs and links them with the appropriate program(s)- clinical therapy and/or one-on-one prevention education and mentorship.

Children’s therapy takes place through the child’s expression of thoughts and emotions through play, as well as through talk therapy.  Children learn coping skills and ways to replace negative thoughts with positive ones, as well as learning the dynamics of healthy relationships, boundaries, and effective communication. We also work with teens who are experiencing dating violence.
