The Child Protection Investigations Project
Chapter 39 injunctions (restraining orders) can be petitioned by the Department of Children & Families, State Attorney’s Office or a Judge to protect a child from an abusive parent/guardian. This removes the responsibility of filing an injunction from the non-offending parent. To learn more click on the video or call our 24-Hour Crisis Hotline at 239-775-1101.
